Jaw slimming
This treatment is particularly useful in clients who have a square masculine face. In some ethnicity groups of oriental origin, you will find that they tend to have a wide-set jaw. Anti-wrinkle treatment helps relax this muscle, which causes it to reduce in size, allowing for the desired facial look with improved facial proportions. Many of our clients have jaw and chin contouring alongside this treatment, which complements the slimming of the jaw.
Treatment
Anti-wrinkle treatment is injected into marked locations of the masseter muscle otherwise known as the 'chewing muscle' in order to reduce the width of the jaw.
How long does it take for the treatment to work and how long does it last?
Unlike anti-wrinkle treatment in other areas of the face, results of jawline reduction takes about 6 weeks to be noticed
Jaw slimming can be expected to last around 6 months
Is treatment painful?
Mostly pain-free procedure as ultra fine needles are used
A numbing cream can be applied to the masseter muscle 20-30 minutes prior to treatment to further reduce discomfort, if any.
